Understand PixVerse V6’s limits before you generate.

PixVerse V6 is PixVerse’s current video model: clips from one to fifteen seconds at up to 1080p, native multi-shot sequencing and audio generated with the picture. It is also the model in this directory whose output rights are the most restricted — PixVerse licences output for non-commercial use unless you obtain a separate licence.

Capabilities and specifications on this page come from PixVerse’s own change log and platform documentation. Credit prices and commercial-use terms are set by the vendor and change without notice. The three stills in the gallery below are PixVerse’s own V6 launch artwork, published on and credited to its V6 announcement post; PixVerse ships its per-shot examples as video files, so this page shows what the vendor published rather than cutting frames out of a video.

What it is

How PixVerse describes V6

PixVerse iterates quickly and documents it: V5.5 arrived on 2 December 2025, v5.6 on 26 January 2026 and V6 on 29 March 2026, with C1 following on 7 April. Checking the change log before you quote a version is the only reliable way to keep up.

Duration and resolution

V6 generates clips from one to fifteen seconds, at 360p, 540p, 720p or 1080p. That combination of a fifteen-second ceiling at 1080p is what separates it from models that cap resolution once you extend the clip.

Native multi-shot and audio

Both arrived in v5.5 and carry into V6. Multi-shot means a single generation can move between shots rather than holding one continuous take, and audio is generated with the picture rather than added afterwards.

Audio is switched per request

PixVerse exposes `generate_audio_switch` as a request parameter, so audio is a decision you make per call rather than a global setting — relevant because it is the sort of feature that changes what a generation costs.

Credits, with one official conversion

PixVerse prices in credits rather than currency. The one conversion the company publishes is that $1 buys five videos at V6 settings — 720p, five seconds, no audio, on the Starter pack. Anything beyond that shape has to be measured in the product.

Output rights are limited by default

PixVerse’s terms state that use of the outputs is limited to non-commercial purposes unless you obtain separate authorisation or a commercial-use licence. The platform terms additionally prohibit reselling access to the generation service itself.

PixVerse’s effect templates are its best-known feature. The company does not publish how many templates exist, so any count you see quoted elsewhere is not an official figure.
