They are grouped the way that page groups them — camera and lighting first, then style taken from a reference, then text — and Google labels none of them with the model that produced it, so the credit below names the page rather than the Pro model.

Google sells the Nano Banana line on two promises: it renders text you can actually read, and it holds a subject steady while you change everything around it. The top model is Nano Banana Pro, built on Gemini 3, and it now sits in a family of three.

Nano Banana Pro (Gemini 3 Pro Image), Nano Banana 2 (Gemini 3.1 Flash Image) and Nano Banana 2 Lite (Gemini 3.1 Flash-Lite Image) are all current. Google’s model menu in the Gemini app exposes them as Fast, Thinking and Pro.

Where Nano Banana runs

Google ships Nano Banana across several surfaces, and they are not equivalent: the model menu differs, the subscription that unlocks Pro differs, and the developer route is separate again.

Choose “Create images” in the tools menu. The model menu offers Fast, Thinking and Pro, and Google notes that Pro, Plus and Ultra subscribers can redo an image with Nano Banana Pro from the three-dot menu.
